We did the alignment exercise to answer a question that is simple and difficult at the same time:
Who are we, really?
From that, clarity was born.
And from that clarity, something unexpected was born: trust.
Not an abstract trust.
Concrete trust that what we are building is real.
But a vision, however powerful, needs form.
That's where the second step began.
We knew we didn't want to build “just another NGO.”
We wanted to invite people in through strength.
The strength of an indigenous woman who became a lawyer.
The strength of a mother who broke barriers before her.
The strength of a community that didn't let its story be submerged.
That had to translate into something clear.
Not as a presentation meant to impress.
But as a tool to organize the energy.
To say with clarity:
This is what we want to build.
This is what we are already doing.
This is what we need.
This is what is going to change.
We sat down with the team.
With allies.
With people who could support us.
We listened to their real doubts:
Is it sustainable?
Is it transparent?
Is it serious?
Will it generate measurable impact?
We took those questions as part of the design.
We made many versions. We shared them.
We received feedback. We adjusted again.
It's a living process.
The document we're sharing today is not just information.
It's a bridge.
Between ancestral wisdom and contemporary execution.
Between community and market.
Between culture and economic sustainability.
Within its pages are the programs: education, economic sovereignty, community centers, cultural preservation.
The commitment to transparency.
But beyond that, there is something more important: There is organized intention.
Because too often, indigenous women have had vision without access to capital.
And too often, capital has had resources without any real connection to the territory.
Not from confrontation. From design. From dignity.
The process gave us roots.
It gave us direction.
Now comes the constant work: test, adjust, learn, grow.
The Foundation is not born from improvisation.
It is born from a real story.
And now it is also born from a clear structure.
The vision has found its form.
And that changes everything.
