We want to share the first version of our values. They were born as a seed – the compass that guided our behavior during the launch. We will be revisiting them soon to add principles of action, and we will share that process with you, our community.
Economic Sovereignty is not charity. It is direct, sustained access to the resources that water a life of one's own: income generated by enterprises rooted in identity, not lent or donated. Liberation requires your own water, not somebody else's.
Visibility and Voice are two different things that travel together, like a single wind: Visibility is being seen; Voice is speaking for yourself. We speak, we lead, we protect – in spite of fear, in spite of the resistance of others. Every action breaks a silence and opens a path.
Co-Creation and Inclusion are not consultation or occasional collaboration. They are the process where different currents – ours, the community's, and the voices diverse in age, gender, belief and way of thinking that make it up – merge before any riverbed is carved. We do not design and then ask: we ask, and the design is born from there. We do not build for. We build with – and with everyone, without exception.
Ancestral Wisdom is not nostalgia, nor is it a museum artifact. It is a living system of knowledge, of care, of identity – with roots as deep as the soil that holds up every harvest. It is inherited, cultivated, passed on. It is not admired from a distance; it is walked from within.
Dignity is neither granted nor earned: it is recognized. It is the firm ground beneath the feet of every woman, every young person, every community, every form of mind – including the neurodivergent – that walks this territory. Ground that needs no permission to exist. Claiming visibility, voice and the right to flourish is not a favor we ask for; it is a condition we name.
Resistance is the refusal to go out. Resilience is the ability to burn again after the wind. They are not synonyms, even though they share the same flame. Through the word, the image and telling our own story, we refuse the role of the silent other. Every story told in our own voice fans both embers at once.
“First” does not mean “only.” We are the original caretakers of this land, with an ancestral leadership like the first breath ever drawn here – and for that very reason we do not build in isolation. We build in community, alongside others, toward a shared future.
Transparency is not exhibition: it is the commitment to show how we build, not only what we have already finished. We share progress, decisions, doubts and mistakes in the same imperfect state in which they happen – just as we do in every working document we circulate among ourselves, without over-polishing. The process has value too. It is not hidden away until it is ready.
Joy is not just being happy. It is the ember kept alive under the ash of exhaustion – visible in the song, in the dance, in the ritual, in the art that hands cannot stop making. It celebrates, and in celebrating, it resists. Both things happen in the same act; there is no order between them.
