Learn to tell the stories that are changing the future of Latin America.

The Sara Omi Foundation is looking for an intern for the fourth quarter of 2026 to lead social media, video editing and content strategy across our Q4 programs. This includes our brand launch, cultural events and documentary storytelling.
The Sara Omi Foundation is building a new model of indigenous economic empowerment, led by Sara Omi, the first Emberá woman lawyer in Panama and a Central American leader recognized by Forbes. We work with a startup-style approach — short sprints, staged funding, transparent reporting — to drive indigenous-owned brands, document ancestral traditions and build community infrastructure.
Duration: 3 months (Q4 2026: October – December)
Compensation: Unpaid – with the possibility of future employment
Location: Remote and on-site, with a preference for candidates who can support event coverage in Panama
How to Apply: Send your CV to info@saraomi.org with the subject line “Application – Social Media Internship”
